Martyn Lloyd Jones wrote:

The true preaching of the gospel of salvation by grace alone always leads to the possibility of this charge being brought against it. There is no better test as to whether a man is really preaching the New Testament gospel of salvation than this, that some people might misunderstand it and misinterpret it to mean that it really amounts to this, that because you are saved by grace alone it does not matter at all what you do; you can go on sinning as much as you like because it will redound all the more to the glory of grace. If my preaching and presentation of the gospel of salvation does not expose it to that misunderstanding, then it is not the gospel.

Christians under law think that the Gospel of Grace is too good to be true. That they have to do something.
But it's the absolute truth!

And if by grace then it is no longer works, otherwise grace is no longer grace.Get that?

To be VERY CLEAR,Paul repaets himself.

But if it is of works,it is no longer grace, otherwise works is no longer works.Rom 11:6

It is no longer becoming righteous or staying righteous by the law (works of the law).

But the righteousness and the works of faith.(works of faith)
Rom 1:16-17,Rom 10:3-4,Phil 3:9Jm 2:10

Jm 2:18
Here James was talking about works of faith, not works of the law.

The problem in Martin's Luther day was how to become righteous? (law or grace)

The problem today is how to stay righteous? (law or grace)
